The King William Reservoir Project in my opinion was ill-conceived, inappropriate, overly expensive, and is ill-fated.  Legal challenges and related major expenses keep piling up, while there is no certainty the project will ever be approved.  This project in my mind rises well beyond illegal and far up the scale of immoral and for a multitude of reasons.  Dig down just below the misinformation that is being spread about this project by the proponents and you will discover for yourself just what I mean.

We need to stop this project and go back to the drawing board and consider the alternatives. This project is scaled to promote continued overdevelopment of the Virginia Penninsula leading to further decrease in the quality of life of its residents.

Currently I am researching the desalination alternatives. Desalination can be brought online incrementally and local to the increased need. Desalination takes very little surface area (acreage) and is far less damaging than the proposed all at once reservoir.
